When you're missing teeth, you want to make sure you choose the best course of action for the smile that you need and want. You want something that is going to look and feel as natural as possible. Our dentists try to save as many of your teeth as possible because there is nothing that comes close to the natural teeth in your mouth. However, sometimes we have to remove them and provide our patients with a system that works with them. We have a few different options that our patients can choose from. Whether you want something a bit more permanent or you need something for both the top and bottom of your mouth, you do have options to choose from. Why Choose One Arch of Implants Instead of DenturesDentures mean that you have to remove all of the teeth in your mouth. Generally, when we see patients, they have either the top or the bottom teeth left. When this is the case, we recommend having them get one arch of implants. These are put in with just a few supports. They are semi-permanent, and they will not move around when you eat, talk, laugh or smile. They provide more confidence than choosing dentures. These arches provide more support inside the mouth and ensure that you get the smile you want and deserve. Dentures may not be the first choice, so we can let you know if you have others. Speak with our dental team here regarding the dentures or implant support you'd like to have put in. Our dentists can take a look, do an exam and let you know the best course of action based on your particular situation. Having a treatment plan that you love is the first step to having better oral health. Allow us to provide that for you when you give us a call to learn more. |
